Bonnet Island Photography

We are THRILLED to be published on STYLE ME PRETTY today!!! At the gorgeous Bonnet Island Estate in Long Beach Island, New Jersey. So thrilled to be featured with MDS Floral & Michael Simons productions. Their gorgeous wedding was located in Long Beach Island at Bonnet Island Estate which is owned by Weddings of Distinction New Jersey. It’s such an honor to be on their preferred platinum photographer list, and also to be featured on Style Me Pretty as their Little Black Book photographer for New Jersey. We had the most gorgeous golden hour whimsical lighting that day and I’m so thankful to God for such an amazing opportunity to photograph their stunning wedding! Their stunning bouquets and florals were created by MDS Floral Design in Manahawkin, New Jersey, who always does an amazing job, and I absolutely love working with them! It was also wonderful working with Michael Simons productions who is always great to work with as well and comes highly recommended to my future brides. Thank you so much Style Me Pretty and Mary Bridget & Jeff for being so AMAZING to work with!

The pair incorporated personal touches during every step of the wedding. The nautical theme was subtle and rich in taste beginning with the bride and groom’s attire. It seemed fitting they chose a string trio for the ceremony, a steel drummer for cocktail hour and a 9-piece band that kept guests dancing into the wee hours of the night. Mary Bridget, being from North Carolina, spoiled guests with Southern comfort foods including the couple’s favorites like shrimp n’ grits during cocktail hour and a surf n’ turf for dinner. Both keen on every little detail, Jeff and Mary Bridget took pottery classes to build sand dollars inscribed with their wedding date and bought French doors from an antique shop to display the reception seating within the windowpanes. Mary Bridget having a niche for calligraphy created most of the décor herself and with family. The day was filled with beautiful floral arrangements of neutral shades blended with peach and blush, picture-perfect weather, and most importantly many meaningful moments.
