NJ Engagement photoshoot Freehold – Krystal and Kevin

NJ Engagement photoshoot Freehold, New Jersey. By Wedding Photographer Kay English

AHHH!! I’m SOOOO excited to share this engagement shoot with you! Can you believe this was taken in JANUARY!!!!!!!!!! I honestly cannot! Krystal and Kevin are SUCH a cute couple and I loved photographing them! Even though it was freezing outside, I didn’t even notice because the images were coming out so beautifully! Krystal is GORGEOUS! And she wore the cutest white vintage style lace dress with bright orange tights. Then she had the cutest hairpiece which was done by Whichgoose on etsy. I actually made her bouquet!!!!! This was the first one I ever made and it was so much fun I kind of want to become a florist as well as a photographer lol. So believe it or not, this shoot was not only done in January but also in the back of my old apartment complex! Haha! I know it sounds weird when I suggested it, but I knew there were evergreens back there and certain plants that would make it looks more like a fall or spring than in the middle of winter. So the couple trusted me and we took great NJ engagement photoshoot photos. Yay! Overall, it was a fabulous shoot and I loved the lighting and how fun the couple was to work with! I also photographed on film with the contax 645 which is one of my favorite cameras of all time, and I also photographed in digital. The couple had an amazing outfit change but I didn’t post the photos here because I loved this outfit so much. Overall, it was a great day and I’m so excited to share these images with you!!!

kay, this is absolutely one of my favorite sessions + blog posts of yours! I love that you featured a headpiece from whichgoose! :] I love how real the couple looks…sometimes in styled sessions, the subjects look so far from real life but this couple, while still looking insanely gorgeous + out of a dream, look like everyday people. I love that! <3
