New Jersey Bride magazine Liberty House published! Hey everyone! I have been keeping this in since I found out a few months ago, that New Jersey Bride magazine has PUBLISHED Lex and Phil’s Liberty House wedding on the COVER of their magazine!!! WOHOOOOO!!!!:)Lex and Phil are one of my favorite couples, they are just so sweet and were WONDERFUL to work with on their beautiful wedding day! It also was their anniversary yesterday, so it was such a blessing to have this magazine come out now. Lex and Phil got married at the gorgeous New Jersey venue the Liberty House in Jersey City, New Jersey. I love working there so much and I am also so happy they have made me a preferred photographer at their gorgeous venue:)The magazine spread was gorgeous and included 2 full pages with Lex and Phil’s amazing story and also the wonderful vendors they had on their wedding day.

From the Article:

“Their story: Alexandra O’Connor, 25, from Watchung, and Philip Romero, 26, from Mountainside, met at a private middle school in Piscataway. By High school, they were dating and later attended the same college together in Boston. The proposal: Phil popped the question in front of both families on Thanksgiving in 2013. “He had just passed the CPA exam, so we were all toasting to that,” says Lex. “Then he started thanking me for being so supportive. I touched his arm- and he was sharking so much! I knew then that he was proposing. Luckily, we got it all on video tape”. Details of the day: The couple got married on July 6th, 2014. “We saw Liberty House in the middle of winter, and the views were amazing”, says Lex. “So I knew it would be even better in the summer”. Wedding Theme: “Glamour chic” in cream, gold and blush tones. What they wore: The bride walked down the aisle in a fit-and-flare ivory gown by Madeline Gardner, complemented by a belt and veil accented with crystals. She carried a bouquet of peonies and roses in blue and cream. The six bridesmaids all wore different dresses in blush, while the groom and his pals opted for blue suits. Special touches: After a traditional ceremony outdoors, the 150 guests found their seats with the help of escort cards attached to small, antique-looking keys. Everyone enjoyed three signature cocktails… The first dance: “dreams” by Gavin DeGraw. Favorite moment: The first look ” We took photos before the ceremony, and it was two and a half full hours of just me and him. I loved having that time alone beforehand.” Must-have details: The flowers “I showed up with two bins filled with ideas for bouquets and centerpieces- and the florist managed to take everything and make my vision come aline. Advice: “Find an awesome photographer and videographer “At the end of the day that is all you have left. It’s a dream to relive our day each time we open our albums or press play on our video.”
